The short version
RakeRadar earns commission when a reader opens an account through certain links on this site. Those links are marked in the page markup with rel="sponsored", which is the attribute search engines expect on paid links and which any reader can inspect.
Not every operator we cover has such a link. Some we have no commercial relationship with at all, and they appear in exactly the same tables on exactly the same terms.
What commission cannot do here
This is the part worth being precise about, because every affiliate site claims independence and the claim is usually unfalsifiable.
Our tables are generated by database queries. A ranking by average reported RTP is an ordering of a numeric column. A ranking by on-chain reserves is an ordering of wallet balances. There is no editorial step between the data and the published order, which means there is no step where commission could be applied even if we wanted to apply it.
You can test this. Several operators near the top of our tables have no affiliate link at all, and appear there because the numbers put them there.
What commission can do
It determines whether an operator has a link, not where it appears. That is a real influence and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
It also shapes which operators we can afford to research in depth, since writing a ten thousand word review takes time that has to come from somewhere. We would rather state that plainly than imply our coverage is a neutral survey of the whole market.
What we will not do: accept payment to change a score, remove a criticism, or delay publishing a finding. If an operator makes that a condition of a partnership, we do not have the partnership.
Why we publish this at all
Because a reader who does not know how a site is funded cannot weigh what it says. Disclosure buried in a footer link satisfies a rule without informing anyone.
The practical advice: read our tables as data and our prose as opinion, check the marked links, and treat any site that claims to have no commercial interest in your clicks with more suspicion than one that explains its interest.
